Yeah I deleted my reply almost instantly!

There are 2-TPower boards. The N750 is AMD and the I45 is Intel... Wow! I need a loan. The TF780 isn't for sale yet as is the TF8200 and we're looking at 2 more!!! That's 4 new boards!

Nothing definite yet, but from what I've heard, the tentative availability of this board should be about mid-May.... but the TPower N780 could be out in mid-April.

Today, BIOS Taiwan posted the 1st BIOS for this board. It is a AMI BIOS just like the TA780G, TF8200, etc, boards. The BIOS is available here:

There is such a poor choice of AM2/+ within mid-range prices, even high price range has nothing that I want. I almost bought 3 boards this week, out of pure frustration waiting on this

1- Gigabyte GA-MA770-DS3 AMD 770 @£52 lack of mem volts finally put me off

2- Gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4 790X @£81 various problems reported over on xs with dead boards, problems with mem slots

3 - MSI K9A2 Platinum 790FX @£100 not sure which version I would get and I have never paid £100 or over for a motherboard swung it

I almost went for the Biostar TA770 A2+ had a look at the overpriced DFI Lanparty DK 790FX-M2RS, then read about boards getting hosed while running speedfan. So still my Black 5000 yells at me to get it out of the box, alas my tf560 has moved on so b5000 will have to wait.

It's probably a good time to sit back and watch the show! As far as I'm concerned the TA770-M2 is the star of the reasonably priced AM2+ motherboards. I'll wait it out for a while. Boring, but good sense I believe [Smile]

Again, you're quite welcome!.... oh man, it costs more than I like to spend on a board, but I went ahead and ordered one anyway.... (credited to RH, of course!)
