Just a note:
CBROM32 can be run also under DOS using HXDOS extender . This may save some DOS/WIN reboots.

I used this latest CBROM32 1.95 for modding Gigabyte GA-EP41-UD3L BIOS but it still cannot correctly work with MINIT and other sensitive modules. BIOS image listing looked OK after mod but when flashed I got only bleeping and black screen.

Even that this crap boasts "DualBIOS" feature, LOL!
I had to activate backup BIOS (B_BIOS chip) manually by soldering out M_BIOS CS# pin to disable it. When it booted to POST screen I gently pushed CS# pin back to PCB and hold it until BIOS recovery automatically started and perform copt from B_BIOS to M_BIOS. Then I solder pin back. Just one jumper for a cent would save users from this messing! Anyway after few days some MOSFET in one VRM phase had suddenly blown and I RMA board and got money back...

I was wondering if someone could take a look at this bios and possibly convert it to have a readable boot block or just so I can open it and look through all the options and see if there's voltage adjustment or anything like that...

THANKS

It's an ami bios for asus a8r-mx/si and it has fsb selection and all that I just wanna open it with Pheonix bios editor or Award bios editor to look through all the options. I keep getting errors when I try to open it. I have the original bios the 0402.bin file but it's the stock one with no options. The 0303.rom file is from the asus vintage ah1.

This thread is for the discussion of CBrom program. And that is an AWARD BIOS program. AWARD and AMI are not interchangable nor are their programs.

Please post you questions in the thread/sector for your motherboard. Thanks!
