And thank you for your help and guidance...!. I'll try the FF a little later... I usually don't play around with these things as I'm too busy running Overclocking tests or have all the systems running the distributed computing client... So the systems are going at full load and the halt@idle doesn't matter.... Now how do we get this to load automatically upon boot-up...? -------------------- Too Many Computers ,... 1. Start Wpcrset 2. Add new register and edit register and value 3. Select Startup - WPCRSET - START 3. Press ok! Thats all! Wonderful by the way: Where do you come from? Would be nice, if you report me what setting to FF causes. Doesn't matter. I will use WCPRSET and set register 6F to FF or play with the 7 bits left. (fist bit is set -> Cool). 6°C is more than nothing! -------------------- K8NF-9 F3j, A64 009 Winchester 3200+@2500MHZ, Aerocool HT-101,1GB Adata Vitesta DDR500, MSI NX6600GT TD128E, Creative Audigy,LG GSA4082B, Liteon 451S@832S, Samsung SP1604N, 2xHitachi 80GB 7K250 Raid0

Hi Elbman! Welcome! Looks like some interesting work has been going on since I was last here... I've been playing around with this WPCREDIT but I noticed register 6Fh was set to 9F before I even started. I'm using the most recent N2PAP BIOS - could halt/idle already be implemented? Mind you, altering this register isn't budging my idle temperature from 36c at all. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong? -------------------- Epox 9NPA Ultra, Athlon 64 3200+, 1GB Patriot PC3200 XBLK, 2x120GB Maxtor HDDs, Leadtek 6600GT Extreme, Liteon DL DVD-RW, 550W Antec PSU, XP Pro SP2

Hi, what bios exactly are you using. I thing i've interpretet something wrong before. Unfortunately i could not test it with my Board, cause there is no CPU. Try to set the register to 1F! Then it should work! @ Hal, are you sure on boot up it's 9F and not 8F...? I'm using the "F01" BETA.... and I get 8F... I'm gonna flash the "A08" and see what happens... -------------------- Too Many Computers ,... Too Little Time ..... Com'on ???..!

Yes - I'm using "A08" - have been since it was released. That was nice of Jetway - at least they're giving us something. -------------------- Epox 9NPA Ultra, Athlon 64 3200+, 1GB Patriot PC3200 XBLK, 2x120GB Maxtor HDDs, Leadtek 6600GT Extreme, Liteon DL DVD-RW, 550W Antec PSU, XP Pro SP2
