Anyone know anything about this board...

thinking about picking it up to better my overclock on a 4000+ Brisbane

I have it in a Biostar TForce 550 and I am held back by lack of Vdimm voltage...

this board looks very promising...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813123017

or is there something better...I am wanting to stay with a 570 chipset for price reasons...and I dont need SLI...thanks

Looks good. The last Epox I had was awesome, and the bios support would have to be better than Biostar.

Not hammering on my T550 it's doing 2.9ghz for me, but I have a couple of Biostar MB's that really could use some bios work.....

It's either that or the SLI version for a little bit more...just because it has 2 IDE slots and 2 extra Sata slot for a total of 8-Sata-II slots..

read where Vdimm goes way past 2.5v so I may look pretty hard at it...I think this 4000+ Brisbane has some serious potential...

It's not even breaking a sweat at 250x10.5 @ 1.3vcore...holding 29c loaded and 18c idle

I got this board the other day...

Was pretty excited about it...put it on the bench and moved over all my stuff from the TForce 550 rig (4000 Brisbane and PDP-LLK)

fired right up...plenty of options...flashed it to the latest bios no problem...

I used the hard drive I had loaded windows to on the tforce 550 but removed all the drivers...wouldnt boot to windows nomatter what...so I figure wipe the drive and re-install windows...no biggy...

so I went thru and was setting up the bios to optimum settings and checking out the others...

thats when I noticed this board only has cpu speeds up to 250mhz...

so I put it back in the box for a later date with a cpu with a higher multi....

not real happy with that...I guess I will have to bite my pride and buy something else...

If you it got from the Egg, they will take it back because you are unsatisfied. -15% of course... Link a BIOS, who knows, may be a mod in the waiting... [Big Grin]

EDIT:
Found the BIOS pretty fast, but it's bad news. The BIOS detects the CPU and then determines what your CPU Clock Frequency limit will be. No way to change that. Sorry. I'd return it. The ABIT NF-M2 nView is a neat little uATX board and should be still at the Egg if your interested.

I may just pick up a 4800 and try it and see what it will do in the board...

dont really wanna eat 15%...I'll use it...

I used to be a big DFI fan but not really anymore but I just may give a Infinity board a try...?

but the biostar is still a decent clocker..

Thanks for looking over the bios...I wonder what it would post if I put the 3600 in it...If I had a spare I'd check..as I used the other 550-SE and 3600 in my HTPC and man that thing is sweet...and fast as all get out stock....no reason to overclock a htpc...

ha ha...

Finaly got this board going....I mis-understood the cpu frequency...you get the old tab with a red bar to key in a number from 0- 250 so I thought I was limited to 250fsb....seems thats not so at all...

the 0-250 is above and beyond the stock 200...so keying in 30 gets you 230fsb...

I put in a 5000+ brisbane (regular G1 stepping) and dialed up 240 x13 and it booted fine at 1.4v for 3260mhz... once I get the ram dialed in it should be a hoot...

testing full stability now at 230x13 @ 1.4v...

Oh by the way it seems NO one is selling any Epox boards...I wonder where all the ones on the shelves went???

Supox has many listed on there site that look real nice but I havent found a place to get one???

Sadly, but Supox mother's are very hard to find.
No matter the chipset.
