My first post here. So please excuse my very poor english [Smile]

Well i bought this board some weeks ago. Runs good so far. Also with the onboard graphics (SiS 741). Now i installed a Hauppauge DVB-S card into the system. I installed the newest Technotrend driver. Then i tried to use ProgDVB. As soon as i select a channel the whole computer freezes. Som funny graphic effects on the screen and then it stalls. I think it's a overlay issue of the graphics card. What i tried so far:

Installed several drivers for the graphics card, newest SiS, the one from asrock page. No difference. Tried different drivers for the DVB card. No difference. Tried the SiS AGP Gart driver and without. No difference. Tried XP Pro or W2k. No difference. Tried different PCI slot. No difference. Tried about 10 different DVB programs. No difference.

So i really want to know how to fix this problem. The DVB-S card works fine with an optional ATI or Nvidia card installed. The CPU is a Geode 1750+. DirectX is 9.0c. W2k and XP both with latest service pack and hotfixes.

And heres a request for a new modded Bios for this board. I used the 2.0 Version from honey X & guni, kept the system 9° lower than the 2.3 Bios from Asrock: -> Link Maybe honey X and guni could have a look at the new Version and make it Cool! [Smile]

I hope i bothered not to much and i also hope you could read my bad writing.

like you said ....it's an ovelay problem of SIS drivers or SIS main 741 chipset
If u wanna make that tv card runs using onboard graphics select non overlay mode on the tv program otherwise you must install a geforce board with full overlay support

bye, Aldo
