Congrats on your dogged persistence! Undocumented jumper combos often exist, didn't think of it though....
Nice one

JHawk Your right about the CPU. So why in CPUZ, sandra and everest they all recognize it as Mobile AMD Athlon XP, 2219 MHz (11 x 202) 3200+ CPU Alias Barton Riley

Birdie, I just went and ran both sandra and everest. Sandra reports 3-3-3-6 everest reports 3-3-3-8 I will play around with the memory settings. Riley

Ok it will run good on 2.5T but wont boot when set to 2T. Still memory bench is a little better not much. 2601 read 855 write 109.7 latency Remember i forgot i traded a buddy of mine for his ram i thought i was running kingston but this im running is spec tec incorp. Never heard of it till i looked in my sandra report. Like you said birdie it mostly the board but im still going to mess around see it i can get my numbers a little higher. Riley

Bridie, U seem to know a little more about this overclocking than myself. So i have another ?. Ok i used to run this same memory in my pcchips m963g v1.5 mobo. The cpu was locked on that board but i could change the the memroy 8/9 or 9/8 not for sure but it would show my memory running at 225mhz in everest it showed pc3700 and it ran stable at that speed so if i would bump up my arock board CPU a little more would that clock the memory a little higher also. I run at 207MHz which I consider safe. The 6th divider kicked in at 200MHz which brought the PCI clock back to 33.3MHz (200/6). So at 207 it will still be at a reasonable 34MHz. The higher you go from there, the bigger the risk of hdd corruption. I like to play safe. John will call me a chicken but I can take it!. No, but seriously, it's up to you. The higher you go, the bigger the risk. I dought you'll go much over 210 anyway.
There's no 7th divider.
And yes, in cpu-z it was showing 207/207. (1:1 ratio).

The board thinks it's a mobile because on low-power desktop CPUs, the L5-2 bridge is closed, just like a mobile. That's the same bridge you close to turn a desktop CPU into a mobile (sort of) so you can adjust the multiplier. In our case it's already done for us. But it's actually part of the desktop product line.
What it's called doesn't matter much. It's just important to know that it has different default voltage, FSB, and multiplier from a true mobile.

The FID0 jumpers have to be used with mobile CPUs on any asrock board, otherwise U will get the maximum multi of your CPU even if the U set it up in BIOS the multi. I had the exact same problem here as relay, with my mobile moded CPU, but it took me months to discover this. I think there was an exception with kt600(I can't remember if it's the upgrade model or not), that was setting the CPU to 6x multi and could not. momchil knows better . Edit: relay, on the sis boards we get better results on bandwith transfer with a 10.5multi then with any other multi. Could U experiment this for me, please?

I've read this thread several times over, and wish I could find some lovin. Through fid jumpers @ 166fsb, I can do 14x for 3200+. At 200fsb through jumpers, nada. I'm hoping it's just the psu, which will be swapped out for a fortron 400-60THN come Monday. Currently, I'm running stock speeds, waiting for the psu.

Well crud. Got the FSP400-60THN in today and saw about 200fsb. No dice regardless of multiplier. 1 stick of ram or both, default settings, tweaked settings, nothing. Not sure if it's the factory unlocked 0330 Barton 2500+, or if it's the mobo 2.01 revision. Until I can figure it out, I'm just gonna park my butt at 166x14 @ 5% vcore 35/41, 2-3-3-7 1:1, but I'm leaning towards the latter. Did try 166x15, but temps got a bit too high for my liking, around 50 idle @ 10% vcore. Same with 170x14, with 43/50 temps @ 10% vcore. I know Birdie and Riley were able to jumper to 200, but I think they both had the first revision, as 2.01 has all 4 fsb settings silkscreened, instead of 3. When I jumper to 200, there's power to the board, cd/dvd spins up, but no video signal. I think I might just have to be satisfied with 2.332Mhz (166x14) @ 1.76v.
