I have a MSI Neo4-F with the 219 Mhz hypertransport bug and am building a micro atx system using my Winchester (My Neo4-F has a 3800x2 in it now). Does this board have an overclocking bug with CBBID Winchesters?

Awesome! I've been looking around, and this micro atx board looks like it's even better than my full atx Neo4. [40 Beers] Thanks for the info and thanks for the welcome!

The CPU fan isn't "variable." No matter what settings I use in the BIOS or using speedfan, the fan stays at the "stock" speed. I've got a loud fan on my CPU right now and want to be able to change the speed when the computer's idle. Is this a BIOS issue?

I've got a 3-pin fan (same as the stock AMD cooler fan) and the board has a mysterious extra pin. Do I need a special fan to work with this connector?

I guess Fintek F71872F I/O chip which also does the system monitoring part isn't properly supported in Speedfan just yet, you may try ThunderProbe instead and see if it works.

Speedfan is monitoring the temps, but can't controll the speeds.

I just installed ThunderProbe and it won't change the speeds either. I tried the "duty cycle calibration" and the speed never changed. I could tell it was trying to change it, though because the graph showed the speed going to full at 5% and staying up there the whole time. Could it be an issue with the Beta BIOS that I'm using (to be able to overclock)?
