Just take care of memory timings. the auto takes 2.5 for CAS for me and my memory don't like this cas over 230MHz, until I run memtest86+ and saw the timings not being read from SPD...... but now 9*300 that's great, no cold or warm bug

A number of people, including myself, are reporting no 166mhz divider functionality on the new beta bios

Switched to the Dual SATA2 and the 166 divider is there and works fine for me with the 1.71 BIOS. I'm running a Vinny and 2X1Gig G.Skill "HZ", 9X300 166 1T 3-4-4-8, 1.6Vcore, 2.7Vdimm....
It's possible that certain types/brands of memory cause the 166 divider to set up memory timings that are just too tight for your final memory speed. Remember the board thinks your going to run the RAM at 166Mhz when you chose "166".....
Issue is discussed in the "Overclocking, Tips, Techniques, and Theory" sector in a topic called "Dividers"...

285Mhz @ 166 divider is 236Mhz... I'm not familar with Patriot "LLK" memory or what chip is in it,... you may need to set 2.5-4-4-8 and maybe 2T as the board has the "2T Problem".... Or get the "XBLK"...
Patriot "XBLK" is the model of Patriot that the board likes. Clocks to 300-315 at 1:1 divider 2.5-4-3-8 2T...

Thanks for the advice but if Beta 7 or its variants possibly require relaxing the mem timings (when not forced to now) then I'll stick with OCWBeta2 until all the bugs are worked out ... if they are.
